On December 4, 2012, the State Water Resource Control Board adopted amendments to the California Code of Regulations, title 23, division 3, chapter 26 (commencing with section 3670) relating to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Classification and Operator Certification.
These amendments include many changes to operator certification and requirements of both publicly and privately owned wastewater treatment facilities. Other changes to the regulations include changes to plant classifications. The new regulations will take effect Spring, 2013.
