Aqua Operations, Inc., is a registered contract operator with the California Water Resources Control Board, and maintains a staff of operators, Grades I through V, certified by the California Department of Public health in water distribution and water treatment, and by the State Water Resources Control board in wastewater operation. Our expertise base includes wastewater operations experience of the Orange County Sanitation District’s internationally known Water Factory 21, a world-renowned, and first-of-its-kind, water recycling and injection facility that helped pave the way for many international projects, and ultimately the Groundwater Replenishment System through its innovation in the injection of treated wastewater into the ground to form a barrier to seawater leaching into the groundwater, and water treatment of the Los Angeles Owens Valley Aqueduct delivering water from the Owens River in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains to the City of Los Angeles, for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
